The Housekeeper will provide general cleaning services for
the church building on a weekly basis.
This is a part-time contract position consisting of five (5) hours per
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
- Weekly cleaning of
bathrooms including those off the office lobby, sanctuary, nursery,
preschool Sunday School, and 2nd floor Sunday School rooms. This includes cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors,
and counters; sweeping and mopping of floors; cleaning of showers;
stocking paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and tissues; emptying of
sanitary and regular trash, etc.
- Weekly vacuuming of office
lobby, office hallway, worship lobby, nursery, preschool classroom, and
- Weekly cleaning of glass
in entry doors by the church office and sanctuary.
- Weekly spot checking of
other carpeted areas (Sanctuary, Family Room, Fellowship Hall, upstairs
hallway and classrooms, etc.) to see if any spots need to be vacuumed.
- Empty trash, as needed, in
2nd floor classrooms.
- Mop Room 207, 211/212,
213, as needed.
- Monthly, during the week
immediately after the 1st Sunday of the month, vacuum the

floor hallways and classrooms.
The Housekeeper will be responsible to the Trustees.
This is a contract position with pay set based on 5 hours
per week. Paid every 2 weeks.
A background check will be required. The Housekeeper is employed at will by
Heritage United Methodist Church for such period as the working relationship is
mutually agreeable to Heritage and the Housekeeper.
Two (2) weeks written notice will be required if the Housekeeper
wishes to leave this position. Two weeks
written notice will also be given by the Trustees if this position is
