Worship Service Times

For more than 30 years we've been passionate about serving our community.

On Sundays, you can expect a friendly welcome, a dynamic service, and thoughtful teaching. We gather collectively as a church to worship and honor the Trinitarian God and for discipleship by hearing about Jesus from the Bible, worshiping through song and giving, and serving one another through community fellowship and prayer.

We're glad you're here.

  • 8:30 AM Traditional Worship
Our liturgies engage the whole self - the body, heart, mind, and soul.  This worship experience is based in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and our heritage.  We will gather to sing hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal and draw from a variety of our traditional ensembles. This service culminates in monthly Eucharist.

  • 10:30 AM Community Worship
This tapestry gathering of the body of Christ engages the soul and the mind as our Senior Pastor shares Biblically based teaching and community engagement.  This worship experience incorporates all styles of music and draws from all of our music ensembles (traditional and non-traditional). It is our hope that this service will awaken your soul to God's voice and stir you to see worship as a verb not just a noun.

  • Sunday School & Fellowship at 9:30 AM between worship services

A Bit More Sunday Info

We value having children of all ages participate with us in worship, even when they are wiggly and make silly noises. We have children's activity bags available near the door to the Childcare room (i.e., in our main worship lobby next to the Sanctuary). We also offer a Family Room (accessed from our main lobby) if that is more comfortable for some families as they participate in worship. Childcare is offered during the morning worship services in our Childcare Room for children ages 3 years and under.

Communion

In our worship services we offer communion (bread and grape juice) on the first Sunday of the month.  Communion is served to everyone who wishes to participate -- yes, everyone -- all ages (even children and babies), and all backgrounds -- you do not need to be a member of Heritage UMC or any church.  Christ's table is open to everyone!  And we offer a gluten-free bread option, too.
