For more than 30 years we've been passionate about serving our community.
On Sundays, you can expect a friendly welcome, a dynamic service, and thoughtful teaching. We gather collectively as a church to worship and honor the Trinitarian God and for discipleship by hearing about Jesus from the Bible, worshiping through song and giving, and serving one another through community fellowship and prayer.
We're glad you're here.
Join us for Worship in the Park at 10:00 am on Sunday, August 13th at Clement Park. Worship will be followed by a cookout, volleyball, and games for all ages. Bring a side dish to share, a lawn chair, and join us! All are welcome!
(Note: There will be no worship service on our church campus on this day. We will all be at the park.)
We value having children of all ages participate with us in worship, even when they are wiggly and make silly noises. We have children's activity bags available near the door to the Childcare room (i.e., in our main worship lobby next to the Sanctuary). We also offer a Family Room (accessed from our main lobby) if that is more comfortable for some families as they participate in worship. Childcare is offered during the morning worship services in our Childcare Room for children ages 3 years and under.
In our worship services we offer communion (bread and grape juice) on the first Sunday of the month. Communion is served to everyone who wishes to participate -- yes, everyone -- all ages (even children and babies), and all backgrounds -- you do not need to be a member of Heritage UMC or any church. Christ's table is open to everyone! And we offer a gluten-free bread option, too.
